There are many good tools out there, but the one you’re looking for is the ipcalc tool.
There are 2 major desktop flavours of the ipcalc tool available, one for Windows and one for Linux.
Windows ipcalc is command-line based, has options for checking/generating addresses (including network masks and CIDR definitions), and (after a major fix) has a nice GUI that displays the results of the calculations.
Linux ipcalc will likely be easiest to use to understand: it is a console application (like “iproute” or “route”), and has a set of options to help you get to the results you want. It can be used with a text editor, or you can use the “-f” option to write to stdout.

Almond Coconut Eggnog

I would like to introduce you to the Nut Butter bar! When I first got home from work yesterday, I made myself a Nut Butter bar and I was so happy. I instantly felt full and satisfied. I have been working so hard, missing foods that really are like a full meal for me. When I work long hours, I usually skip lunch and end up starving by the time I get home. This is great because a lot of times, I get so hungry when I get home that I want to eat right away but by the time I stop working, I’m so full that it is almost impossible to actually eat. This is great because eating a Nut Butter bar is such a quick and easy meal and it was perfect for my busy schedule. Now, make sure to check out the other Nut Butter bar recipes that I have on my blog!

I spent my weekend relaxing with my family, while making some amazing treats for my blog, and today

Proof of inequality with $k_i \geq 1, k_i \in \mathbb{N}$

$$\sum_{i=1}^n k_i > (n-1) \frac{k_1 + \cdots + k_n}{k_1 + \cdots + k_n}$$

A:

Case $n=2$: The inequality is true, since
$$\frac12 \le \frac12 + \frac12 = \frac12\cdot 2 = \frac{k_1+k_2}{k_1+k_2}.$$
Case $n=3$: By induction, we have
\begin{align}
&\frac13 + \frac23 + \cdots + \frac{k_2}{k_1+k_2} > \frac13 + \frac23 + \cdots + \frac{k_2}{k_1+k_2} = \frac13(k_1+k_2) = \frac13(k_1+k_2+k_2) \\
&= \frac{k_1+k_2+k_2}{k_1+k_2+k_2} = \frac{k_1+k_2+k_2}{k_1+k

A variety of checking functions can be performed on each generated subnet. Click “Check”, or “Run” to evaluate the subnet. If the subnet passes all checks, a success message will display. If there are any problems, then an error message will display and generate an error code. Select the error code in the Error List dialog. You can use any of these ranges and subnet your network. However, keep in mind that some of the subnets are bigger than the whole network so if that is the case, you’ll need to split the network.

The amount of waste material we produce in this country is astonishing. We generate more waste than the rest of the world combined. Having said that, we don’t really seem to feel that way. In fact we just continue to trash the planet in the most horrifying fashion. The world will be a better place when we remove this garbage from the planet. But we have a long way to go.

You may not realize this but when you flush the toilet, you produce a large amount of waste. Depending on your home you could be producing as much as seven cubic feet of waste when you flush. Considering that a single flush can release an average of five gallons of water this means that you could be wasting as much as twenty-five gallons of water every time you flush the toilet.

Only a few years ago, you were lucky to get a small bottle of dish soap. While there was some available at the drug store, most of us never bothered to use it. That is no longer the case. Today, you can find dish soap in the supermarket just like you can find milk or cereal or any number of other items. Do you remember when you first saw the price of a twenty-four ounce bottle of dish soap on the shelf?

The Flint water crisis is not going to be reversed by any of us. The deadening effect it had on the psyche of people in Flint and in the surrounding areas is not easily reversed. The poison that people in Flint were exposed to is dangerous not only because it was the result of a

Cutter Biosphere in the News

Phillip Jenkins receiving a citation from NPS for impact on the environment and culture

October 23, 2009

PHILADELPHIA – A brief, but compelling history of the Cutter Biosphere at the Walters Art Museum was made during a special exhibition celebrating the cutting of the first major tree in the Smithsonian Institution’s three million acre National Arboretum.

On April 13, 1874, conservationist Charles Russell Cutts, founder of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Forestry, brought 2,000 pounds of dynamite, a traveling forge, and five axemen to the front of the museum to begin felling the first Giant sequoia of the Smithsonian Forest.

The second sawing of the Big Tree was recorded by the Society of American Foresters’ founding secretary Horace Alonzo Person as more than 100 axemen, many of them new to the ax, worked 15 hours on that day in a struggle against the legendary tree, named the “Tree of Peace.”

A century later, the laboratory for the Smithsonian Forest was known as “Cutts’s Forest,” and in 2002, it was renamed in honor of the Museum’s first major tree feller.

The context of the cutting was the second building of “The Forest School” on land originally called “The Arboretum and the Orchards,” one of the Smithsonian’s three institutions of natural history.

Cutts founded the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Forestry in 1886 as the first academic forestry program in the United States, and his disciple, Charles Whitney Busch, later a Penn professor and later director of the University of Pennsylvania’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, took the initiative to cut the Big Tree.

That name was subsequently given to the campus of the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and
